What insurance does Little Steps take?
We accept insurance from the following providers:
- United Healthcare
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Early Intervention
What is Early Intervention?
- A state program for Children under 3. After referring your child to the program, they will undergo evaluation to see if they qualify. They will have to have a delay greater than 30% to qualify.
How do I get my child started in therapy?
- Provide us with a doctor’s order and your insurance information. We will verify your benefits and bill your insurance.
How much will I have to pay for therapy after insurance?
- Due to varying types of insurance policies, coverage, and plans, we cannot guarantee how much insurance will pay and how much you will owe. We encourage you to call your insurance company.
Is the process for treatment the same at my home and at the clinic?
- It is an easier process to treat your child in the clinic. Insurance requires more documentation and time to review that documentation in order to allow for treatment at home. As a result, it often takes weeks to begin at-home treatment while waiting on insurance companies’ approval.
