If the frigid weather we’ve been having lately has you dreaming of balmy summer days, you’re far from alone. The Little Steps team is planning a bunch of fun programming for the warmer months ahead. Here are the interactive summer programs we’re offering this year:
Spanish Immersion Camp
These small language camps will be grouped by age.
This camp will help 7- to 10-year-old artists improve their fine motor skills.
This program promotes early learning for children who haven’t reached preschool age yet.
In this program, kids will hone school skills like socializing, reading comprehension, writing (fine motor skills) and more.
Intro to Team Sports
This program will help familiarize 4- to 5-year-olds and 6- to 8-year-olds with team sports.
This program will be geared toward 9- to 11-year-old athletes.
Team Sports Mini-Camps
Children ages 2 to 3 years old will learn about body alignment and the basics of sports in these programs.
Sports Intensive Camps
These week-long camps will focus on preparing 12- to 15-year-old athletes for high school sports – including basketball, baseball, volleyball and football. We’ll also work on conditioning, plyometrics, strength training and flexibility.
Sports and Executive Functioning Camp
This new program will focus on executive functioning – a set of vital cognitive skills – as it relates to athletics.
Intro to Bike Camp
Our counselors will help children 3.5 to 4.5 years old learn balance and coordination.
These four-day intensive sessions will help children ages 5 and up master various bike riding skills.
Social Skills Camp
In small group settings, kids will learn about communication, problem-solving and other vital social skills that will help them thrive at school as well as in other environments.
Space is limited and our classes fill up fast, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. To enroll and get more information about our programming, give us a call at 847-707-6744 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
