Allison Amato, PT, DPT – Pediatric Physical Therapist
Allison graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Physical Therapy. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University.
Allison has experience working with patients of various ages, diagnoses, and abilities, but has always found a passion for pediatric physical therapy. Her clinical experience has allowed her to work with children with various diagnoses including but not limited to Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Injury, Marfan syndrome, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Allison has experience treating children in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and school-based settings.
She loves working with children and their families to improve a child’s functional mobility and independence. Allison looks forward to assisting children and families meet their goals while utilizing fun, creative, and play-based activities!
