Crystal Gomez, Pediatric Physical Therapist
Crystal graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University.
She has held strong interest in pediatrics since undergrad, working as a research assistant for her college’s pediatric research department. At Northwestern, Crystal participated in Shirley Ryan Ability Lab Pediatric Gait Camp, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Youth Adaptive Yoga, and “Go Baby Go”. Crystal has experience working with patients across the lifespan with a focus in pediatrics during her clinical rotations in settings such as pediatric acute care, pediatric intensive care unit, outpatient pediatrics and inpatient pediatrics. During her pediatric rotations she has experience working with conditions including but not limited to: cerebral palsy (GMFCS levels l-V), spina bifida, developmental delay, Traumatic Brain Injuries , Down syndrome, hypotonia, autism spectrum disorder, post-spinal fusion, pediatric spinal cord injuries, post-stroke, and variety of genetic conditions. Crystal is excited to work with the children and families of Little Steps with hopes to educate and help families achieve their goals through quality patient care.
