Emilie Predl, MS, CCC-SLP, Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist
Emilie graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her education at Illinois State and went on to receive her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Go Redbirds!
Emilie has clinical experience in a variety of settings including preschool and elementary school, private practice and daycare. Emilie has worked with pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, expressive and receptive language difficulties, pragmatic (social) language difficulties and children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Emilie discovered her passion working with children when she worked at a special recreation summer camp in high-school! Emilie loves this field of work because it gives her the chance to form close connections with her clients and families and she also loves celebrating her client’s speech and language milestones! She lives in Lakeview, Chicago with her cat, Scooby.
