Flerida Chung, MS, OTR/L- Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Flerida grew up in the Northshore, graduated from University of Illinois Chicago and pursued her Masters in Occupational Therapy from The University of Puget Sound. After working in the adult care settings for a few years, she transitioned into pediatrics and have exclusively focused on working for the betterment of children ever since.
Flerida has several years of pediatric experience working with children ranging from infants to 15 years of age. Her Early Intervention journey has taken her from working with families in Southern California to Manhattan, as well as volunteering in orphanages in Thailand. While working and continuing her experiences in NYC, she also spent time building up her training in Sensory Integration.
Flerida loves working with children and to see them thrive in their natural environments. It is her hope to accentuate the children’s strengthens and to develop their areas of weakness, while empowering their families to best care for their needs. Flerida strongly believes in collaborating and educating families because they play a crucial role in accelerating a child’s progress.
