Lauren Silverman PT, DPT, Pediatric Physical Therapist, Clinic Director-Highland Park
Lauren graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. Lauren has treated both children and adults across a variety of clinical settings, but throughout her clinical experiences has developed a passion and dedication for providing physical therapy to the pediatric population. Lauren enjoys helping children and their families reach their functional goals while utilizing fun and engaging play-based treatment strategies. While at Northwestern, Lauren sought a variety of opportunities to work with children with complex medical histories in order to further develop her knowledge and skills in the area of pediatric physical therapy. Lauren has experience treating children from birth to teens, and has treated a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to: torticollis, developmental delay, toe walking, in-toeing, hypotonia, sports-related injuries, fibular hemimelia, cerebral palsy, prematurity, genetic disorders, and Down syndrome. Lauren loves connecting with the children and families of Little Steps!
