Melisa Valle, Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Melisa graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy and her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Pre-OT from Walsh University in Ohio. She was born in Nicaragua, and is an English and Spanish native speaker. She has experience working with adults in the acute care setting, as well as children ages 0-15 with a variety of diagnoses in the clinical setting. Her areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration, social participation and emotional regulation difficulties. She has experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team, as well as providing services to children both 1:1 and in groups. She strongly believes in working closely with other professionals and parents to provide quality care and maximize children’s outcomes.
