Sarah Kappers, PT, DPT, Pediatric Physical Therapist
Sarah graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Science Preprofessional Studies and a double major in Psychology. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Northwestern University.
During her clinical experiences, Sarah treated patients in the inpatient acute, outpatient orthopedic, collegiate sports, and pediatric settings. She has always enjoyed working with kids and her experiences participating in the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab Pediatric Gait Camp and Go Baby Go program while at Northwestern confirmed her passion for the pediatric setting. She has experience treating children with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to: orthopedic injuries, prematurity, developmental delay, hypotonia, torticollis/plagiocephaly, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, toe walking, and a variety of genetic conditions. Sarah is excited to work with the children and families of Little Steps and use creative play-based activities to help children reach their full potential.
